Cath said journalism is a include gathering, writing and reporting news. Journalism in the newspaper, television, radio and new network media and other media plays an important role. For learning design students, future work will be given access to the media, such as photographers and television playwright-director. Her experience let me contact with you don't have the contact areas, maybe I can also try the job in journalism, maybe I do some works future with journalist. Some experience to draw lessons from to the filming documentary.

In the morning I attended the lecture “from student to artist”, this is a very interesting subject. I think everyone who choice the art course all hopes to be a great artist.
How to from a student become to a artist, Michael Robinson gave his experience. First, he requires us to creatively reflect where we are now, and asked where we are.
He suggested that we seriously consider art is actually what is it? He gave us the dictionary definition, which is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual from such as painting or sculpture. To show us a different YouTube video, trying to answer the same question. He solicited us consider the likely answer is "Art is an expression of imagination." He also asked us to consider art means something different to everyone.

Robinson gave us many suggestion. I remember he suggested that we try to keep our style. It let me think my style which is melancholy style, melancholy style contains a huge force, it different to warm style as a sponge. Warm style can give someone good mood, however, melancholy style can give me power, explosive power. So I agree Robinson’s suggestion, to do a artist own self style, so that others to remember you.

Robinson has gone through different experiences, and now he knows what he needs, he knows where he is now. All of this proves that we have great value, control all by them.I feeling I should to exploring myself way like him.

In the afternoon there is a photography lecture attracted me, it is “photographic career development” by Adam Lee. Starting from this semester, I more clearly realized that I'm more suitable for photographers. This is a good chance to make a career planning.

Adam He summed up the photography major obtain employment direction to us.

He told us that want to make an eye-opener to reach out to a variety of cultures and art forms.

I'm very interested in personal practice, I think they lack is practice experience. I think try different styles can exercise my photography skill, but I myself need to own a special style.

how do you become and photographer? this is a good question, sometime we always say to be a photographer, but what is the necessary action? Adam has summarized out it.

Elders have told me that no matter what you want to do, to do it refined.

Creative future week journal - Tuesday 05/03/2013

Today I want to fine out what I need at lecture “creating future creatively at tape community music and film Ltd” and “getting a job in the media”.

TAPE Community Music and Film supports people of all ages and abilities to explore and develop their creative ideas and abilities. I clearly know that I am a student who will graduate, to get some information from some companies is necessary that can practice with the social.

There are a lot of new media companies like TAPE, we have a lot of employment opportunities. TAPE is based in the TAPE Community Arts Centre in Old Colwyn and also works across North Wales and around the UK. Following a significant refurbishment and period of growth, TAPE is updating their website to incorporate all the exciting developments taking place here at the TAPE Community Arts Centre.

“getting a job in the media” is at afternoon. Lecturing by Phil Hirst, he has been working in the media industry 25 years. His experience has been as a journalist for BBC Merseyside, working with an independent production company and working freelance.

Look at the require, I think I ready to graduate.

The BBC is a very good media industry, working environment and treatment are very attractive, but I want to enter require must be high.

these all are important information. From that I can see which haven't done, suit the remedy to the case, to improve myself. We have a lot of employment opportunities. But you have to have a clear career planning, the most suitable for their own way.

Creative future week journal - Monday 04/03/2013

This is a week let me look forward, from opening address to start. This is a brilliant presentation talk about what’s current in the creative industries by Dr Stuart Cunningham.

Look at these data, let me know that industries needs higher education background, Learning is very important, and creative media talents lack.

All in all, Dr Stuart told us the employment status. What skill is industries need, what is media industries development trend. These question all need us to thinking, Let our study direction and career goals more clear.

The following is key note address about painting over the cracks. Professor Paul Haywood from 5 parts which are guns to goods, metal, colouredge, secret gardens festival of mass narrative and tower twinning to explain that place making can benefit from a shared sense of local identity.

At the end, Professor Paul Haywood left several questions let us to think primarily we need to be concerned about why place making can benefit from a shared sense of local identity? How practical sociology might otherwise matter? What a citizen perspective might mean to planners? How reverse innovation in social environments might influence policy? What makes sense to wider social and business communities? How residents and local activists might prevail?

These questions must be concern future work, to master some workplace elements can make self more easily to success.

Afternoon, I attended the “how not be a designer” lecture. When I see the title, I remember that I have done a cover for a book which called “whatever you think, think the opposite”, and this also showed in this lecture. So I can simply to know that “how not be a designer” means “whatever you think, think the opposite”, I think this is a designer often needs to do, change a degree to thinking can get a wonderful result.

Robert ball is an Illustrator, he told his experience at the lecture. He showed us many interesting picture, I got some information from picture is that contrast is important, I remember a teacher said, comparison is more intense, visual effect is more intense.

Next lecture I attended at 15:00 is “to imagine, to create, to learn”. This is a very vanguard lecture for me.  Musical pigsties, sound installations, games, lasers and mushrooms; Yann Seznec's is an artist, musician and sound designer who has composed and performed worldwide, and is a regular guest speaker at conferences and universities. He projects may seem wildly disparate. However they are all conceptually, artistically, and technically linked, forming a body of work looking at sound, music, interface, audience, and more. Yann described his projects and his career, from a failed appearance on Dragons' Den to founding an award-winning creative studio, showing the results of an uncompromising approach to artistic creation.

Actually, I want to be a artist who always walk in front of others, Yann let me realize that being a successful artist must be down-to-earth to learn advanced technology.
